......im afraid i couldnt get a pic of The Great Well it self, im s**t ya pantz rubbish with hightz'n thiz thing iz about 269ft deep top to bottom, anyway herez some picz leading up to The Well ha ha ha

nice little set of tunnels those are. they are a bit damp down the chalk section though!

Well frosty was taking photos and it's a very small place so two people taking photos just get in each others way.

shame the location is checked and that open gate will be noticed tho..nice for a lil tunnel

The gate's been open for years. It's the tunnel that was always locked. and righly so; it could be a death trap if it was ever left unlocked... Whoever broke in should have made sure they'd secured it after they'd had their fun.

The lock's been forced by someone. Although it was still on the door when we visited, you could just take it off and open the door. We put it back on as we found it when we left.

well when we went there was a lock that had been popped by the looks of it and placed back on ..but inside was a very bent looking lock..i didnt have any locks in me rucksack or id of put a semi decent one back on !!

soz my bad by gate i meant entrance..lock on the gate wouldnt do much good if someones allready in the tunne l :?
