Hi
So I'm an idiot because I didn't notice they started demolishing it before... luckily they probably kept the most instersting part intact. Visited with @Himeiji (hii)
The Twinerg power plant was a thermal power plant in the municipality of Esch-sur-Alzette in Luxembourg with an installed capacity of 375 MW.It has been out of service since 2016 and has been demolished last year.
Less than 20 years active, cost 150 million euros...
Year of construction 1998
Commissioning: 7 May 2002
Supplier: Alstom
Type: Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) with 9001FA Gas Turbine KWK
Primary energy source: natural gas
The electrical energy was fed into Sotel's industrial grid until 2016 and then indirectly into the Belgian transmission grid.
