War department POW

I recently ended up at this war department POW location that has morphed over time in its type of usage

And has now gone back into private hands.

In no way wanting to appear to be secret squirrelish I wont be naming it on the basis of what remains there today and hope people can respect that and use the system in place to cater for that.

My first visit was over two years ago and was gob smacked with what remains there.

The site is very signals orientated

Ah i wondered when these pics where going to surface into a report..nice stuff sk..rocksalt i assume they dont want you in and its propelled towards you at force and speed then..and yeah rocksalt in the arse or anywhere stings like fuck..nice one and agree mr magoo and trip wires not my forte'.. :cool2:

Well done SK this place is well to coin a phrase "Epic", Its like being transported back in time, I can see why the land owner wouldnt want anyone getting in there, Its such a shame that places like this are just left to decay and rot, This place should be "Sorted" and made available for special people like "Us" to visit, Hell Id gladly pay the guy a few quid to walk around it undisturbed !, Well and truly done fella !
