On of the most amazing buildings i have ever explored, because of:
Its rotting there for around 25 years.
Its kinda dangerous, as you might see in the pics complete walls and floors are missing.
Loads of decay.
its the first location i ever found myself.
wanted to visit this place for 3...
Derpy bowling, no decay, staged sets and just boring to explore, however... to get here we confronted a not so happy rotweiler dog, so i had to take pics else it would be for nothing :P

My first underground explore, and i loved it. To bad there were a couple of Iphone explorers wandering around, who wanted to switch the light on :/ Kinda killing the atmosphere of an abandoned bus graveyard, but hey! It was nice, and maybe ill be planning a revisit.

Stairs, hills, more stairs, bushes, climbing, stairs. How to even get close to this building?!
Finally, we found a way to acces the site, but now, how to enter this abandoned monastry?
After 15 minutes of searching, it seemed to be quite easy and we walked just past the entrance. Spend an hour...
Heavy Metal was a high capacity steel strip mill which closed in 2012. Access was a bit of a nightmare but made the prize that bit more special. As soon as you make your way inside, the size of the place dawns on you, it's an absolute beast. It's somewhere you could easily spend 2 or 3 days and...
This old slate mine had some really nice features inside, rusty old mining carts and tracks everywhere. The valley was snowed under when we arrived which made for some epic scenery and the mine itself was a decent size but easy enough to navigate thanks to some tips from Andy. The name comes...
Today I did some exploring in a underground bus depot. We walked down the whole tunnel. Luckily we had bright LED lights on our camera, otherwise I wouldn't have gone so far. We thought we spotted some motion sensors so we figured out a way to avoid them. There was still a loud beep every 2...
A ship, ready for scrapping. The crew had left lots of stuff behind, most cabins were still filled with personal belongings. Photographed january 2012, the ship is long gone now.

Val Saint Lambert is a Belgian crystal glassware manufacturer, founded in 1826. Val St Lambert is the official glassware supplier to H.M. King Albert II of Belgium.
We were a bit sick of the sight of razor wire on this trip and nearly turned back when we found it protecting this old factory...
Orient Express, Belgium
Visited with: PG UE, Carl, Nick & Scott.
Please Note: Entry is always through an open access point and not by forcing our way in….. We are explorers, not vandals.
History
Built in the 1930’s this train was huge, lavish and built with all the latest...
We weren't sure what to expect with this place, the codename translates as 'crashes room' in German and 'strength cream' in Dutch so we didn't have a lot to go on, just one picture of a large control panel. We gave it our own codename in the end - Crack House, named after it being a hard nut to...
As The_Raw asked me so nicely heres a report even tho i posted some in photo of the day
Wasn't going to do a report as to be honest after tails of PIR's being present we kinda expected when was triggered for loud alarms to go off,so we avoided the area. Baron kindly told us he set one off and...
More Chateaux than Manoir really (its a big un!), I visited this ridiculously photogenic derp on a solo mooch round Belgium back in November...

In 1913 started the construction of the power plant.
Mid-19th century coal, oil and natural gas supplied energy for the area.
After closure of a part of the power plant was used as a museum.
2010, the museum was closed and the power station was unfortunately partly demolished in 2012.

This old power station was the first stop on a recent trip to Belgium with extreme_ironing, monkey, obscurity, and wevsky. It was built in the first decade of the twentieth century in a typical Industrial Revolution architectural fashion with a grand steel roof. It was apparently abandoned a...
This place has a codename but to be honest i just can't bring myself to use it,it is a tad silly in my opinion and after all i am a mature grown up type of chap,so this name will have to do!
This was the second to last explore on a trip i was invited on by The_raw after someone pulled out,we...
