Did not see many reports from this hospital. It was one that was in the process of demolition. One wing was already gone but this gave me an nice access to the basement through the rubble. It felt strange. the heating was still on,power and the clocks were also working.. Some of the x-ray...

In the Belgian Ardenne mountains on a spit of land in the small town of La-Roche de Ardenne, Lies a camp site beyond anything i have ever seen.
A camping in rapid state of decline, the most uncomfortable place i have ever seen. Dirty and riddled with trash...
Oh and the abandoned camp site is...
probably a well known site. It was more then 4 years ago that i visited this one so a revisit was planned.
On a sunny Sunday I went alone to this site;following the same path as 4 yeas ago,but wanted to see some other parts of this giant plant. Walked there for more than 4 hours and still...

The Town Mansion was originally built in 1912 by a wealthy petroleum importer. During the early 20th century, the area in which the mansion was built, had become a hub for many rich German families in the early 1900's. By 1918, once the First World War had come...

The well known Lycée V. has been a grammar school for girls only. It#s been closed in the 1990's and abandoned since.

For those who is planning to go to Antwerp metro! Beware that it's Belgium, and the actual presence of trams in the tunnels might not be consistent with their schedule!
Being already inside one of the tunnels of the active line, we suddenly heard noise behind. I checked the schedule in advance...
The old primary school has apparently been abandoned for quite some time. Crumbling plaster is leading the way. Decay as far as the eye can see. Now and then friendly yet strong reminders written somewhere: "Instortingsgevaar" (danger of collapse). Certain areas of the school building are...

Here they repaired the trains and also other equipment used in in steel factory (radio's, chargers,....).

Red Morgue Hospital
I couldn't find huge amount history on this location but from what I've gathered the hospital was built at some point in the early 20th century. It was funded by investors and at a time when nursing care was predominately carried out by the clergy. They wanted the...
Some well known steel industry stuff.
I found no one to go with me last sunday but i was very eager to check this place, so I went alone for a bit of scouting.
My carefully crafted path on google maps turned out as usual a bit shitty (dang they removed that bridge...) but i found an easy...
And old 18 century house with had a bank function. The building is stripped of all furniture an will probably be renovated in some future.
