Founded in 1869 it was originally the residence of the Sisters Of Notre Dame.
It began life as a pupil teacher centre and became a college in 1908.
The sisters eventually left the building in 1978 due to an expansion which made the site an all girls school in 1983.
In September 2013 the...
This old college was a religious secondary school built in a religious “commune†solely by volunteer labour missionaries in the 1950’s who worked for the church. The school has a huge American influence as you can tell by the pictures, it is huge! The amount of things left...
Originally named Mount Ellis, built for Joseph Ellis in 1865, and was reverted to Westmount College, a Dover College junior branch, in 1898.

Visited this one with Goldie, Miz Firestorm and PoppunkJamie on a bit of a derp tour around his area (cheers for showing us round!). After wondering around outside for about an hour we finally found an entry point and it was worth the effort!

So I jumped on the boat with this one, nice local explore with Mrs.Landie and a non-forum member friend. Nice and relaxed until we bumped into the groundskeeper with a site surveyor who gave us the usual "This is highly dangerous" and me wanting to crack out the phone and show him Rank Hovis in...
On a roadtrip last year, we had a day of fails and went for this as a last resort. Why it was a last resort I really don't know. Pretty darn nice and under the radar. I read stories of ruthless dogs after our visit. Luckily we were quite careful and kept away from the house on site.

OK, I know this place has been done to death, but ever since it appeared I've always fancied a mooch round. Was done solo, after a recent arson attack and various thefts, it seems that demolition is on the cards, so off I toddled.

I managed to explore the building the day before it was fenced off in preparation for demolition.
The building you are about to see was built in 1953 and opened in 1954.
Abandoned in June 2010 and demolished in August 2010, but here are some pictures of the exploration:
Been meaning to check this place out for ages, but with two previous attempts being unsuccessful for one reason or another I wasn't too hopefull at ever getting it done. However today presented the perfect opportunity.
