I literally had no info on this location so thanks to Andy for these snippets -
The beginnings of the hospital are in the early 1900's and a new building was completed in 1966.
The Hospital was closed in 2003. A medical office and emergency department was opened in a part of the building two...

Last weekend we had a very nice underground exploration... the mine for basalt was so big that we didnt find our way out on our first try :D :D
Andy was also there with a friend, presumably longer than "crew". Thanks for the Trip buddy, looking forward to the next exploration :)

Yesterday, this was by far my longest and most exhausting underground exploration. The mining complex was simply huge, stunning and impressive.
I have not found & seen everything. Absolutely not. But after a total of 11 hours, I had simply no more energy. Today I have a little muscle...
When we arrived at the gates, parked the car 100 mtrs away we saw the security walking around there. This entrance is a no go. Parked the car somewhere else and get in the hard way. After 1.5 hours they found us :( Busted, after a talk, that took prints of our ID's and put us into the system...
What a great explore, 5 am, alarmclock, wake up! 6 am, fck i felt asleep again, hurry!
Great way to start your day, next problem. We got the location, but is it the right one? Driving through germany we found a prison, why are there so many cars and why does it looks different? Park the car and...
Easter bunnies are currently in season. Therefore below some pictures from a factory that produced amongst others easter bunnies made of chocolate. A lot of the old equipment is still in there, but it is pitchblack inside, therefore only a few shots...

Free German Trade Union Federation.
Looks like this place was a small holiday camp for trade union members in the forma East Germany.
Found this place early this month.
Didn't look like much from outside but had quite a few good details shots inside.
Beds were still made up!
Again a chance finding. I searched the satellite images from Google Earth and I saw a house in the woods. The location was ideal for an abandoned place and so I went there to check it out. It could also be a hunting lodge or a bothy, but I was lucky.
Lying around letters revealed that it wasn't...
Disused rather than abandoned, this hotel has been empty for around 40 years in parts and 20 years in others. Located in the snowy German mountains much of it's custom came from skiers but eventually it stopped making enough money to continue a viable business. Rather than sell for a pittance...
This was a coal mine dating back to 1902, the last mining shaft was filled in by 1999, and the colliery closed in 2008. Rumour has it demolition is scheduled for May, but there is info online suggesting it be retained as an industrial monument so I'm not entirely sure.
I saw this pop up a while...

Did this place a few weeks ago. Didn't look like much from outside, every window had those brown metal plates with holes.
Found one that was loose and through the cellar.

Some more old stuff dating back to 2010.
A papermill that was in the middle of getting disassembled. The whole yard was full of saefreight containers where the machines got packed into.

Today no old stuff, the most recent location I visited and managed to process the pictures, finally.
This factory used to produce tiles for industrial applications. One day it was taken over by a competitor and production was transferred abroad.
There is still a huge area remaining although it...
