There are a lot of programms that allow you to resize different or all pics of a folder, for example with IrfanView.
You can download IrfanView here for free: https://www.irfanview.com/
To resize different or all pics in a folder, you have to select "File" >> "Batch Conversion". There you can adjust the size for resizing, change the name of the photos and choose the destination folder.
If you want to rename several photos at once, you have to name it at "Batch Rename Settings" >> "name pattern" for example with "pic###" (the ### with have the result pic001 - pic999).
