France Chateau du duc (visited 03/2019)

The castle was built in the first half of the 17th century on the site of a medieval predecessor castle. In the following decades and centuries it was inhabited by dukes, counts, a marquis and officers. It was inhabited for the last time in the middle of the 20th century, after which the castle was temporarily used as a warehouse.​

There have been plans to renovate the listed property and convert it into apartments, but I'm not sure if this really will happen anytime.​

I have retouched several bad graffiti from my photos, unfortunately there were many of them inside of the castle.​

Sadly doesn't look like anything will happen with this now, seems a bit too far gone for a restoration, but looks cool as it decays anyway
