Dover venture [pic heavy]- Nov 2012

Day trip with Pezzar and porkchop [ i think] and a non forum member, lovely day out and nice mooch

first thing was first though

after exploring the tunnel near the scrapyard [ no decent photos of that] we moved up to the casemates area

stopped by the famous staircase before that though ;]

something for the afternoon ;]

didnt go through the pipe though >< oh well something to go back for

anyway moving on, going back down the hill we had a friendly encounter ^^

Now onwards to find our way in to the college building

staircase has seen better days d:

although the roof seemed a bit worse ... gulp

and finally a small derp at folkstone

Then on to some of the worst chips i've ever tasted.. expensive too ><

so we then proceeded to get stuck in a traffic jam, and annoy the person behind us by constantly taking photos d:

Is that a statue in the in the middle of a railway track?

Yes. The station closed a fair time ago, followed by the closure of the line. The statue is part of the Folkestone Triennial art festival, where people are encouraged to use the town as their canvas.
