Hello fellow explorers. I explored Hilsea Lodge on 07/12/24.
I have always gone past the c are home on the bus journey and I've always wondered if it was empty, their websites were still up so I thought not. Cars in the parking lot [for the neighboring care home. So, it was a dementia unit I'm pretty sure, there's not much online, it closed back in 2019 and demolition keeps getting postponed, there's been word it'll be a place for special needs... I'm not too sure but there's that floating about, truly a hidden gem though cause, while there were a few broken windows for the courtyards, the rest of the building was in pretty good nic! The rooms were a bit copy-pasted as you'd find in most care homes and such. But it was still worth it!
