Hotel du Coin, Luxembourg July '14

Nestled in a small town in Luxembourg sits a very strange hotel, it certainly is up there with the weirder locations I have explored.

According to the sign outside it was indeed a hotel and certainly looks that way, but the whole place has a Mary Celeste feel about it, like everyone just vanished. There is a lot of 'older people' medication in various rooms, plus clothes and loads of personal belongings, it reminded me more of the Malvernbury Care Home than a hotel. And the paperwork, oh my god I have never seen so much paperwork in one location before. Books, magazines, documents, newspapers, leaflets, scattered everywhere, way more than there is apparent room for.

More than a bit jealous as I've just scored a massive fail at a big hotel I've had my sights on a while...

Cheers guys, it's a good spot although a bit more of a mess than the first reports I saw, the big water leak being the main issue!

NICE!! Had this on the list fro the last jaunt, but when we got there it turned out to be an old plastics factory with secca sat outside!! Wrong co ords!!

Bummer! We got lucky with this one as the coordinates I put into the sat nav decided they wanted to take us to a completely different end of town but by sheer luck the route it chose took us right past it, to this day i have no idea why it did that...
