History
Built in 1902-3 by Northampton architect Thomas Dyer, the Hope Methodist Church is a striking landmark on Higham Ferrers' High Street. Marked out in East Northamptonshire Council's own Conservation Area Appraisal as a building of merit, the church, which is notable for its exuberantly...
Got the coordinates for this place.
Its an old church closed since the early 60's, due to communism I believe.
A local artist has made all these ghost that represent Germans praying before the war.
Its is one of the more remote locations I have gone to, the roads to the village were just...

On a rather snowy morning after failing to get into a nearby mill we headed through bradford to st paul's church a place which I had seen endless amounts of pics from but never ventured there myself. The place is absolutely fuc*** but the roof is brilliant!

Part of the Sell Out Cat Crew (SOCC) outing me and Banned batz visted a church
[CENTER]First day of visiting derelict sites of the year, having been here in 2012 and since upgrading camera several times and improving my photography a hell of a lot I thought it was time to see how the church was...

Funny one this really. I’ve known about it for years but thought I’d go and check it out, its situated fairly near my house and there is a public footpath going through a yard which leads to the building. The place is “open to all†but first a key must be obtained from...
Greensted Church is the oldest wooden church in the world and probably the oldest wooden building in Europe still standing, albeit only in part, since few sections of its original wooden structure remain. The oak walls are often classified as remnants of a palisade church or a kind of early...
Visited this little church with Dursty, Miz & Obs. It was just meant to be a quick reccie as Dursty had spotted it on google maps and figured it looked worth a closer inspection. Turned out to be one of the highlights of our weekend, very pristine and no decay whatsoever but fascinating that...
More like Bird Poop Church, because goddamn, the crap's everywhere. Both literally.
Planned to go there tomorrow, because of a friend who didn't have time. But they reported sun today and rain tomorrow, so tough luck :upu3: (But we'll pass by it tomorrow again, anyway.) A bunch of pigeons...
What a contrast to Transfig! This church is altogether much more sound, after escaping the imminent collapse at Transfig it was nice to have some solid floors.
What we couldn't escape from though was the weather, which was even worse than the day before. The worst weather I have ever explored...
Another day, another death trap.
After we finished at the massive silos we made our way to a more normal derp, a large church which is now in serious disrepair. It's not often I'm in places which are currently falling down, as several large chunks of ceiling plaster crashed to the ground whilst...
Hello OS. Here's another location from a recent euro tour :) Visited with AndyK!, Kriegaffe, Vals Darkroom and a non member.
Nice little place here, a lot to offer, enjoy! :)

St Alfege is the Anglican parish church in the centre of Greenwich. There has been a church here for over a thousand years, dedicated to the memory of Alfege, the Archbishop of Canterbury who was martyred on this site in 1012. The church has connections with many famous figures in British...
This church had stood derelict for 10 years when it caught fire in 2011. The year before it had been bought by a muslim charity to be made into community a community centre. As you can see it was severley damaged and now stands rotting even more.
