My Visit
My first Urbex trip of 2015 and it started out like many...
It was a lucky chance find on the way of a tour.
Judging by documents abandoned since 2003 and much grown from the outside, so that the house has obviously entered no one for years. Inside a wealth of details and above all countless spiderwebs along with their cute builders - both in living...
Good evening everyone, it's been a while!
Now this place drove me and a few people half crazy when we were trying to pinpoint its location. But we persevered, found it, and boy it didn't disappoint.. Well maybe a little at first haha, but after the mystery of the missing items (most of what you...
Went here with the usual crew Katia, born2misbehave, Jammin, shush and Toby. This was the first on the list of places for the day and what a way to start, there was plenty left behind in this house and if you see my flickr the pocket watches were my favourit things in the house. cant put a date...
This one was at the top of my list for a while. So when the day came, I don't know why I lacked motivation...I hardly spent anytime taking photos, and in hindsight, now I'm gutted about that. Still, never mind. I have my memories, and lots of blurry photo's.
Anyway, every man and his dog have...

The property was built only in the 1920s, later it was used as an agricultural school. In parts destroyed by a fire and abandoned in the mid-80s.

The building from the 19th century belonged to a paper mill, which was closed in the 1990s.

The popular code name for this is House of Tears however I have taken the liberty of using a different one.
Firstly, as I personally knew some of the last family who lived there and secondly I feel it gives a misleading impression of the place.
The main building was built around 1735 however...
This beautiful manor closed a few years ago now. The owners are currently in the process of trying to raise £5 Million in which they will convert the place into retirement apartments as the building is listed. In its past it was a Masonic lodge and a Nuns convent/school. Hopefully they will...
The mansion was built in the late 19th century on the former site of a manor house. During World War II it served as a labor camp and later as resettlers home.

It's been done before but was really pleased to see this one, visited with Neizt from 28dl. We visited at stupid o'clock & although glad to have got in after a lot of effort trying to even find the place  were both a bit apprehensive at first, think it was the 'freshness'/lack of...
From the Euro Tour with the SOCC mob including Project Mayhem, Lowri, Carl Hartley, Andy K Urbex (Behind Closed Doors) and Darbains. The vovage would take myself to pick up PM and Lowri, and heading for the Chunnel, after 12 hours of driving we arrive and soon in the Euroland heading for...
It was a long day with 7 places on our list (Non members) but we were unlucky and only managed access into two :( good thing was that the two we managed made up for the other ones.
I have wanted to see this place since it popped up and was my main aim of the day. Stuck in the middle of a...
Heron House, Aylesbury – September 2014
Not much on this place. It had been sealed since its 2012 closure when the Job Centre vacated the building and returned to their Oxford Road location. The name gives away that it was built as part of the Heron Empire, probably sometime in the 60s...
Ok so following on from my last report at St Joseph's a slightly smaller effort, but I enjoy these little derps just as much as the big ones. I love poking around the rooms, and seeing all the old labels on food etc.
When I visited this place, It was on my way home from a weekend of UK...
The History of this place as been covered but in a nut shell and from what im led to believe it was built by a farmer whilst tending to his sheep and to take shelter in the bad weather
My visit was cut short on the arrival of a man who didn't look best pleased when he saw me so I had to make a...
Well its not a quite a cottage, and it was quite manky in places with used bog paper and toiletries and raw food packaging lying around. It was a quick visit to the Seamans Discharge Hoose!
Thanks for looking!!
:comp:
After a fair amount of searching online and an early start, we were on the way to this beautiful location.
It was even more beautiful inside with lots of nicknacks and things to see. No history on this one so I'll just get on with the photos - these photos are a mixture from 2 visits.
Starting...
This was our 5th place of the trip. After Mind Candy we grabbed some food and mad our way through the Dartford tunnel, then we headed up the A12 into Suffolk. We had the road and post code but when we go there we could not find it, also we had lost one car in a traffic jam and after he turned up...
