My original plans fell through today thanks in no small part to the weather but by chance someone else I know sent me a message asking if I wanted a little outing, so in an effort to salvage something from the day went on a little trip to Swindon.
Ash House and Oak House were originally nurses...
Visited here to shoot part of a uni brief about detail, ring flash and crop, so was in the middle of doing that when another explorer and her mum showed up... Was more concentrating on shooting what I had visited for, but made sure I got enough images for a report... I left shooting the external...
Today's catch. Simply one of the houses I've checked out and posted report on earlier. Snow came. And I thought maybe it looks fun with snow. Went there today. And this is how it looks with snow. That's all :-).
:-)
Used to pass this nearly every day back and for to work, I went past a while ago and found they had started to knock it down, had a quick look from the front and could not see anyone, so made entry. About a hour later coming out of the last building and heard shouting, seems like the workers had...
[CENTER]Froomsgate House, Bristol
It is being redeveloped into (yet more) student accommodation.
This is one that a few of us (one in particular) have had our eye on for a while, so getting an invite to get up it seemed too good to miss. A mate of mine has put a lot of work into researching...
No history or name for this and as everyone is going all European and code naming sites I'll call it Boeuf Rideau House.
I've known about this one for a while but CBA always sets in when I'm passing but I decided to make a bit of effort today to pop in.
The bed upstairs had been slept in and...
I suppose this will have been my first well preserved house explore. I really enjoyed it! loads of stuff to see and very photogenic. If memory serves correct we found reasonable evidence to suggest that the house has been left from the early 70′s relatively untouched. There does appear to...
I wasn't going to bother putting up a report anywhere on this, as we got caught by the farmer and he's pretty fed up with people going onto his land to photograph it, he actually asked us not to post the images on the net anywhere. To be fair I can understand as it must be quite exasperating for...
firstly this place is massive and is so bland inside as everything in there is white and plain. there are a few things left inside but not a great deal. it has a swimming pool and snooker table and also has its own stables. found out about this place as a friend sent on info he had received and...
Evening all,
Been a while since my last post as I've been doing a few bits n bobs plus finishing up a few sets before the German trip which will be here soon.
This little place in Wales was in the middle of nowhere and all of the items were pushed into corners so a little moving (or dressing...
A gorgeous little place this, even though it was a bit stuffy and full of spiders. It was a tad cramped but there was so much to photograph and look through! A great little explore

Now a total derp... Scaff gone and open to elements
2012:
Thought I'd drop mine in a late submission. This place was odd to say the least, but I really liked it as an explore, certainly not too bad at all.
Abandoned around 2005, looks like the occupants were insolvent and ran away...
2013:
As far as I'm aware nothing has changed here, and this nice, half hour explore is still here.
2009:
There is not much information online about this building, but its awesome! Its believed to be owned by The Beechwood Estates. It has two large halls, a kitchen, a bathroom, and two...
This place was AWESOME! Had to sneak in here super quick through the basement. It was on a pretty busy street! Spent quite a while in here going through documents and belongings, it seemed the Doctor in question collected art too.
It was a surgery of some sort, but the private quarters were...

The original house was built in 1797 by William Knocker, former Mayor of Dover, he built the house and named the area "Bushy Ruff". He also excavated the lake to power his paper mills in the area. The house was built with a Italian feel to impress his visitors. Since then there has been some...
Situated on top of the cliffs in Kent, this house looks straight over the channel and was thought to be part of a Military Base. It extends underground through means of an access lift where there is thought to be more levels within the cliffs. Unfortunately there was a fire and a lot of the...
Earlier this month while i was out with my camera trying to find the RAF Folkingham grave yard i stumbled across this absolute beauty of a discovery. I would love to know the history of this house and the reasons behind its abandonment but couldn't find anything on it. All i can say is sit back...
2nd to last explore this one, happened to be along our route back toward ferry port so as Urban Junky had mentioned he popped in here when we met up at the hotel it seemed rude not to go have a look..
Seems it was some form of coal washing site from what ive been told..
There is a inscription...
