I visited this place last year when I was trying to see as many asylums as possible before they were knocked down or converted.
I must have got to this one just in time, as last time I visited there were people living in it.
It was nice to see the building being put to good use and the...
It was pretty shocking to see this first hand. The poor old lady must have gone mad with the constant dripping into the buckets dotted everywhere.
In the attic there were attempts to stop the leaking roofs, the buckets had over filled and slowly rotted the ceiling. In the winter she must have...

Thanks for looking...
...in an ordinary street in an ordinary city.
Driving past this you'd never know it was empty, sure the front garden could do with a trim but to all intents and purposes it looks just like any sizeable late Victorian or Edwardian townhouse, in an affluent area of the country. It is surprising...

Remembrance of Things Past…nestling quietly in the English countryside this sad little house opened up its treasures for us today.
After a somewhat undignified entrance – it’s lucky I’m slim! – and a life threatening walk across some very dodgy floor boards we came across a lovely...
I believe this also may also go under the title of Hoarders House…it’s in a little cinque port town in Kent..some mild HDR..so look away now if that offends…
Friday afternoon..sunny ..blue sky..epic failure on the first location due to me thinking a group of old decaying buildings looked...
Quick explore of this Derpy house, I normally love houses and yes Cottages and take more pics in there than a big place, but here well, I think I took 17. This little adventure was just a quick splore whislt waiting for another opportunity to present itself (I bailed eventually on the explore I...
Luckily this place has been saved..unlucky for us urbex folk..it’s undergoing full renovation now..
Some minor HDR on these pics..so if that offends please don’t look…
I’ve lived round these parts most of my life..I’ve walked past this place so many times and never realised that it was...
This again is another pub that has fallen foul of the recession and closed around 2008, It is named after the local fox hunt. Its last use was as a upmarket Thai-restaurant-cum-pub which failed fairly quickly.
I have had this on the radar for a while and decided to give it a try yesterday. The...
visited with Scattergun and a very fine splore, considering we got boarded in whilst inside (twitchy arse moment)
3rd visit to finally find the craddle room !! eluded me previously :)
anyways on with the pics
finally the elusive room :)
cheers for looking
This is a sad little house with a sad history of loneliness and death in a fire, it is of no great size but contains the remnants of a life and is now gradually being overgrown by nature with an unclear future.
I personally only know 3 people that have done this, I'd be lucky if I could remember where this was again but it was in the midst of refurbishment when we wandered in. Was a very small place and we were in and out within 45 minutes I think.

This is a classic mooch from a little while back, only never got around to actually reporting it anywhere! This site is now completely redeveloped, so no chance of future explores unfortunately :(
HISTORY
Stone House Hospital, formerly the City of London Lunatic Asylum, was a hospital and...
Also known as the house of sisters/whispers. We got caught by the caretaker about 3 hours after sunrise and asked to leave, nice guy thought and totally understood what we were about. This place is/was on the market for £2.5million but what you would do with it I'm not sure apart from turn it...

Now, on the way out I bump into a guy who lives on the estate, after chatting about the history of the place his wife pops along and...
This place has just had a major collapse in the building but I beleive the chapel is still ok
GARTHLAND House, on the outskirts of Lochwinnoch, was one of Renfrewshire's most majestic mansions. The greyish-pink Tudor-style architecture of the two-storey building was enhanced by a pillared...
Rural exploring... r...rubexing ?. Two small houses located in north Hertfordshire, a small pre-explore before we hit the main one that day.
It was during a very hot day so we where quite thankful to get inside !. The houses themselves where shrouded with early 90's floppy disks and home manual...
