This place is fantastic, if slightly bare, but the architecture and space makes up for it!!
It was once a nursing home, then a school, then a private manor house. If converted I think it will become a nursing home once again!
Loved it here. not sure if converted yet!

Probably the best manor house I've ever visited, and it's close to being one of the best locations I've been to...Simply amazing!
Hope you like it. It has recently been sealed but I would love to go back.

Great little manor, the outside, not so good. the Inside... wow; you wouldn't expect it. Unfortunately some bits are very dark as there are boards on the windows and it would look shit light painting them, so I skipped them. My friend OldSkool cleaned up the entrance hall for his shot...
Ok, here we go, first post...
After an epic fail in May 2012, we decided to do a re-visit in october.
Luckily for us, it was accessible again.
Let me first start with a bit of the history from this cool place;
This classic protestant church has been build between 1796 - 1797 and was designed...
Hi all,
Sorry I seem to be flooding the boards since I joined, been reviewing some stuff archived on Flickr and thought I'd post a double as I know only two people (besides me and a friend of mine) that did both of these as they were closed up within the week of us finding them. Both very close...

The North Wales Lunatic Asylum was the first psychiatric institution built in Wales; construction began in 1844 and completed in 1848 in the town of Denbigh.
The roof has been made safe supposedly to prevent further weather damage. After exploring it,the wife told me she still preferred...
I found this Kindergarten very very sad indeed, with all the reminders left behind in a hurry as the citizens were evacuated.I also wondered about how many children had perished since this dreadful accident occurred. Was glad I saw it but it was my least favorite explore out of the 20 plus...

Opened it 1927,the Former RAF flying corps club passed into the hands of the Americans who added the last modern bar called Jandys. The living areas were quite respectable and the ballroom held host to big name stars.Closing along with base in 1994,the building quickly suffered from the damp,so a...
Not really an explore but for me,probably thee worst example of what man actually did to fellow man.How some people can deny what happened here is beyond me.I first visited a concentration camp in 1980 called Belsen..I have never forgotten the pictures of the unfortunates photographed after it`s...
Another site in the centre of Kiev..this was a massive site, but the section we did is the only one accessable plus the police watch this place like hawks. No known history, apart from the obvious that it was built/opened in 1964.
A bit cut short due to being asked to...
This one is for real sea dogs..my poor missus suffered all the way to this place!
Both Steep Holm and Flat Holm were fortified in the 1860s as a defence against invasion. They form part of a line of defences, known as Palmerston Forts, built across the channel to protect the approaches to...
Thames Water emergency centre:this bunker was built in the 80`s as a place where about 12 Water Board personnel would stay in the event of a nuclear strike and monitor the water supply in the nearby reservoir.Tommo gave me the heads up on this one,as someone had discovered the locks had been...
Designed by GT Hine and built in 1897,East Sussex County Asylum opened in 1903.The concept being that by being set in the countryside, patients would benefit by the isolation and quiet surroundings. The brickwork and chimneys are superb.Hospital closed 1994.
We visited November 2008 and returned...
This old mill was built circa 1900,but its history is scant..there was a fire between 1908 and 1910,when the mill was rebuilt as a large roller mill..the last owner is listed as Mill Precision Engineers, who occupied the the newer buildings opposite.
And thats...
The funfair is situated in the city park to the rear of the Palace of Culture.Sadly the fair never opened on May Day,as planned. When we visited, our guide put her Geiger counter down on the tarmac and it went into overdrive..needlessly to say,we didnt spend too long here. For me,this was my...
So close,I could chuck a ball at it, this is another victim of our changing social habits,
Built in early Victorian times,Arkell’s bought the pub, which is on the main road into Wroughton from Swindon, back in 1889 it had its own brewhouse, stables, coach house, shed, piggeries...
