History:
This former medical complex was constructed at the begin of the 1900s as a new sanatorium for tuberculosis patients. A couple of years later it was opened and began operating successfully. When the second world war broke out this hospital was converted to a base for the German SS. This didn't take long though, after one year it was conquered by the British and used as a place to treat the wounded British soldiers. After the war was finally over it was used again as a medical institution for the German people. The only problem was that tuberculosis cases were going down due to newly invented medicine. So the complex was converted to a clinic for minor medical problems. This went successfully until 2010, this was the time that the hospital was just too outdated, so it was abandoned. Now 10 years later vandalism and decay have reached this historical complex.
