More Italy reportage!
:D This place was particularly special and possibly my favourite location on the whole trip :)
Italy is just full of goodness, no matter what sort of derp it is! We hit this one late afternoon and was the last location of the day, we didn't get as long as we'd liked in...
Hi all! More yummy Italy reports here
:) This one's a bit special, trashed but with a crazy amount of wheelchairs left behind and some great architecture, some proper asylumy stuff too :D
One of the last locations on our big Italy tour, and it seemed to me a great way to begin the round off...
Manicomio di R is an abandoned asylum in Italy. Built in 1871 the hospital was a transformation of other buildings that were originally a hospital of charitable institutions, and later a military college. The hospital was used to treat the mentally ill, and electroshock therapy was used...
Hi all, slowly getting on my Italy reports
:) Visited this one early morning nearing the end of the Italy tour with Behind Closed Doors, Kriegaffe and PROJ3CT M4YH3M.
This isn't really a bad hospital :) Fairly trashed but still plenty of equipment remaining, there was huge mountain of...
What do you think, am I wrong if I say that every town has its own "porn house?"
In the middle of the town, a lot of memories from past lives await us hidden from the eyes of the most.
Let's go.

It was called the "church of the pigeons" for the big amount of xxxx inside.
But now its roof has been renovated and the pigeons have gone away.
Back to its beauty. :)

2 I breathe your sins

4 No more pigeons
The history of the Holy Cross Hospital is surreal.
Built about 200 years ago, it has been renovated several times over the years then suddenly abandoned.
A new hospital was built exactly in front of it.
After a few years, they closed it too.
Two abandoned hospitals facing each other...
Hey all, not posted for a while as my Flickr has been messing up! Here's one of the locations from our first day in Italy, with plenty more to come
:thumb This trip will always be one of my favourites, I've never seen anything in the UK like I have in Italy. This place is falling to bits and...
Evening all,
Last place we visited in November's tour of Italy was this place. Not sure on the history but it was a dark, rainy morning and had to be accessed early doors due to the built up neighbourhood.
Nothing else really to add but the photos. Still got some more to process but this is...
Afternoon all,
Another place visited on our last day in September which was a familiar spot on many peoples list is Non Plus Ultra.
This castle owes it's current decor due to the work of one man who renovated and expanded the building during the 19th century. Its a bit of an overload on the...
Evening all,
Long time since I posted anything and as you may already know I don't process that quick so got about 40 active locations of photos to still process bits from.
This place was visited on our last day during our first of two trips to Italy last year. Not sure why it was abandoned...
I assume this place is known to most of the audience here... So I'll save you the details of it's history.
Unfortunately, this location is no longer untouched, but I could limit the (visible) damage with close-up shots and excessive use of the clone...

Evening all,
Not getting through stuff very quickly as per usual. Means I have a lot to process which keeps me occupied for months but creates a bit of a backlog.
This place in the Italian countryside was visited during our first of two trips to Italy in the latter part of 2014. No history but...
Evening all,
A very small, but beautiful round chapel in the Italian countryside was visited as part of our trip in November. Beauty of a ceiling which is the main event as its a brief stop judging by the photos I've seen before of this.
Visited with Dursty, John and Mike.

The (now well-known) castle dates from the 17th century, recent modifications / alterations were made in the 19th century. It is difficult to describe it. An overload of visual impressions ...
It should be turned into a luxury hotel. But that was not begun until today, as far as I know.
