A short stop; visited with Miaro Digital on our this year's Italy-tour. Built between the 17th and 18th centuries, the small Italian church was seat of a parish in the mid-19th century. Since 1960 it has been hardly used. In the early 1980s, a wedding was performed here the last time, in 1990...

The parish church probably dates back to the chapel of a nearby castle, which was already documented in the late 11th century. In the 15th century the church was rebuilt, last renovations were made around 1960. Due to static problems it was finally closed and decayed rapidly. A few years ago...

Built in 1909 these hydroelectric turbines are old and beautiful - embodying all the charm and character that was incorporated into the design of industrial equipment from that period. Some signs of restoration are visible, so it looks like the future of this glimpse of the past is secure. The...
