Another instalment and the last site visited on Scattergun's and mine's Englandshire trip. Too end the trip we spent the night with BadBatz (cheers for putting us up again dude) and hit the road early to pick up AltDayOut and to visit the Welsh Sugar Asylum, this was the last stop on our...
Quite a bit late with this report, but finally getting round to posting up some pics. After completing a early morning adventure at a nearby hospital Scattergun, Proj3ct M4yh3m, Lowri and two friends from Spain headed for this here.
It was a bright sunny day, but it was also freezing cold...
Evening all,
A very brief stop in a small village in France. Not much here but the stairs.
Don't know anything about history but it was only a stop if we were close by.

Thanks for looking in.
Hi all,
Another set finished and ready to report. Needs no introduction as you could say its a tourist one but a necessary one regardless of what you think. Everyone has to do this at some stage as its a fantastic place.
Usually you don't see many other shots from here bar the carpet and "that...
Afternoon all,
Another one from the Lux, France and Belgium May tour. This abandoned Sanatorium in the mountains was abandoned but still had lights and heating and the generator was keeping the place going out the back. It just looks like the patients got up one morning, left and never...
Evening all,
Slowly processing photos from two very recent euro trips. This one was visited as part of our mad 3 man and 3 country tour - Luxembourg, France and briefly, Belgium.
This place in France was an abandoned Catholic school and I don't really have any further information or history...
Evening all,
Slowly getting through the European location sets and got another to share.
This is known as Bureau Central and was our first stop when we left Luxembourg. The builders are in the grounds and there is a real hive of activity going on. We found a way in and spent a few hours here...
Visited with Revelation_space back in July 2010, This is a very very decayed site but I still quite enjoyed the wander around it. Spent about 5 hours here before we accidentally knocked a board down and alerted security to where we were, made a sharp exit after that.
some history on the place...
A forlorn little place this. Built by the water board as part of a sewage works, which is no longer there.
The last occupier probably lived there for quite some time and the house was put to auction in 2011 'needing complete modernisation'. Sold and caught fire within a week.
Evening all,
Giving myself a break from posting up residential places, I thought I'd post up an industrial location which was right on the border between Luxembourg and France and formed part of our first full day in Luxembourg before we left for France.
We parked up and made our way over...
Evening all,
Another residential unfortunately. Didn't realise before we arranged this day or so in Luxembourg is that the majority of places are residential in Luxembourg. Never mind, we arrived at the airport and collected our car and were in this place within 45 minutes. As we got in, there...
Something a little different...jazzed up a little - any comments on the processing welcome.
Shutters came down permanently in 2000. The obligatory arson attack happened in 2010. Still for sale I believe. Little chef has definitely left the building.
Morning all,
I've put this into leisure although it was partly residential - so admins feel free to move.
Out of the 5 places in total that we visited in Luxembourg, 4 were residential. This was our second of the late afternoon which was close to our planned early morning visit before leaving...
I try to visit Adinkirke,Belgium every couple of months to stock up on the beer n fags like you do,and most times,I like to take a walk along the beech here to see Zuydcoote, and just sit and ponder.I actually found this Fort by accident using Google Earth and put in the co-ords,and found it one...
One of my favourite explores despite it's small size (we could only get in to one of the buildings). Visited with Revelation_Space back in July 2010. This place was demolished earlier this year :( and I believe they are building a new distillery on the site.
"Just as the existing distilleries...
Evening all,
Another set more or less finished.
No history to this and was a late addition to the game. Got this sorted day before we left so I only saw a few photos from here. A more or less bare chateau in pretty good condition from the outside but a bit rotten and a lot of supports to hold...
Evening all,
First post in a while as I usually come back from tour and bounce around from one location to another so never finish a set more or less straight away. I tend to edit as I go and only upload a few everyday.
This place was the last stop of the tour before we flew home. Deep out in...
Grain Tower ...or No 1 The Thames according to the Post Office, although I am not sure how they deliver post to this place!
If you get it wrong on this explore you either have to spend an uncomfortable 12 hours on the structure or get very wet walking back ! Beware !
Every time I have visited...
I'm sure you all know this place first hand, it was a very popular place and it's had a lot of Urbex traffic pass through it.
Visited with Rusty on a Sheffield day trip back in September 2011
A real cool old place, I'm not sure of it's current status.
